How do you import a gamer pic from your computer to a 360?

I've seen people with custom gamer pics before but anytime I try and figure it out, all I can do is set background.|||they are pictures they either bought from xboxlive or they took the photo using the xbox camera|||There is reason I didn't pick this as the best answer. I know that captain obvious. I wasn't asking what they were; I was asking how you upload custom gamerpics without a grainy quality pic taken from a webcam of a computer paper that was printed out. I've seen people with custom gamerpics. Genius.
