i see people that have buttons as there Gamer tag but when i go to change it it has to be Unlocked.|||Im not sure if your talking about symbols similar to my name?
If you are, you need to go to xbox.com, edit your Xbox Live Bio.
Now Open up character map
(Start %26gt; All Programs %26gt; Accessories %26gt; System Tools %26gt; Character Map)
Just look for a symbol, copy it, and paste it in the bio.

Can you download add-ons for Xbox games onto your hard drive and play them with different gamer tags?
In my house we have a few gamer tags on the go but we don't want to buy the same add-on five times over.|||Yes, the content license for downloads is assigned to the Xbox used to download it not to any particular gamertag.|||Yes.
I Downloaded the map pack for COD4 to my harddrive %26amp; any profile that signs on that Xbox has access to them. :)

How do i become a successfull pc gamer?
I am just getting into pc gaming and i all ready have my pc picked out i want to know how do i become a pc gamer and where are the conventions and stuff like that. Also a little more info I don't play world of warcraft I play things like tf2 and counter strike and civilization and starcraft and supreme commander 2.|||Welcome to pc gaming Nick! And by the way you sound, it looks like you don't just want to be a gamer, you want to be a competitive gamer - good for you!
Anyway, first off, it looks like you haven't chosen what genre to start first. I say this because if you want to compete against the rest of the world, you will have to start with 1 genre especially if you choose to compete in RTS like Starcraft. RTS games can easily consume your life without much improvement in your skills (naturally depending on how you learn the game of your choice).
On the subject of starcraft, you are better off starting with the campaigns to get a feel of what race you would prefer to focus on first (toss, terran, zerg). Once you know all the hotkeys of whatever race you'd like to major, then I suggest you start downloading replays from the pro-gamers like: http://professionalgaminglife.com/boxer-鈥?/a> or my favorite female pro-gamer: http://professionalgaminglife.com/pro-ga鈥?/a>
When you have their replays, try to understand their moves. From here on, it's off to PRACTICE, PRACTICE, and EVEN MORE PRACTICE. To give you a clue, the pro-gamers play SC 12 hours a day! But unlike the amateurs who just suddenly die from their seats playing SC nonstop, the pros actually have a strict physical regime everyday to keep their body healthy as well.

Same with TF2, Starcraft, all those games you need to quickly know which hotkeys to use and what they do. Basically, if you can't hotkey you can't play any of those games listed without being really slow and inefficient.|||Well, nowadays its all about the graphics and the online. Counter strike its a pretty good game, but u should update your game list if u want to be a good fps. Try play the new COD Black ops, or for pc, crysis, it has a great story line and awesome graphics. Hope this helps :)|||Gaming is a mix of intelligence, reaction time, and plain skills. How do you get gamer pictures on the xbox 360 without having live connections?
i was playing beatles rockband, and i got this gamer picture of the beatles rockband logo. i dont know how i got it just showed up one day.|||Sometimes games will unlock gamerpics or avatar items as you complete certain goals or achievements. You don't need Live to earn these. The latest firmware will actually put a "Gamerpic Unlocked" message when this happens.|||its special awards for playing the game, there are a few games that dew that, you can also get some from the discs that come with the Official Xbox Magazine

Can you use the same xbox 360 gamer tag on different consoles ?
Right now i have an xbox 360 at my dads house and have a profile/gamer tag and now im going to get one for my moms house. Can i still use the same/recover the gamer tag? Will it still have the gold membership that i have? Any additional details would be greatly appreciated! 10points for best answer!|||It takes around 5-10 minutes, click "recover gamer tag" you won't have your saved games, but you will have your membership and gamer score, avatar, picture. but not your theme, best way is just take your hard drive with you, the memory card is too small for most profiles.|||yea you can recover your gamertag for whatever 360 you want to use it on. all your games and your gold will still remain on it.
How can I recover a gamer tag that I deleted?
I accidentally deleted my gamer tag on my xbox. All of my save files are still on the game, but I cannot acces them. Is there anyway I can get my gamer tag back or at least get to use my save games? The gamer tag was never online by the way.|||i highly doubt it, if it was online u could recover it, but i dont think u can recover an account never used online
