You see, I look stuff up for games like walkthroughs, guides, tips, but not cheats. I'd like to know if it made you a better gamer if you learned all of that stuff on your own, without looking it up? Would you play better, because I have a friend who's just great at halo 3. I have another friend who's great at the classic games like mario. And they both said they rarely use the internet for stuff about the game besides trailers and stuff. Thanks.|||only by practicing more and more
or another way is to play with cheats|||Yeah when I was young and had just started out playing games I wasn't that great, I was OK for a beginner though. I used to look up walkthroughs A LOT to help me get through a particular tricky part in a game, now I am a lot cleverer than I was back then and I can work out for myself where to go in games. I still get stuck every once in a while on certain games but eventually I work it out. I haven't looked at a walkthrough since I last played Prince of Persia: Sands of Time and it has worked out great for me. I think the more clever you are and the less you look at walkthroughs the better you will become because you get used to finding out things for yourself. If you're looking at how to become a better gamer in the sense that you want more kills in a game etc. thats down to practice and skill, but even with lots of practice some people may not be quite as good as others, that can be just down to who you are.
But really you should just try playing a game for quite a few hours straight, that helped me :)|||Practice makes perfect man! Just try and try and try. When I first started Call of Duty MW2, I sucked! I couldn't get more than a 5 kill streak, but now, i'm getting nukes, and i'd say i'm not half bad...
Reactions has a big part to play in this as well, if your quick to dodge a monster (Mario) or fast to run from a grenade (Halo 3) then this is bound to come to hand when playing any game.|||Practice will always help. But never give up like for 2 months I sucked at MW2 but then I just kept playing. IT got on my nerves alot. But never give up if their too hard if your opponents are too hard dont go just straight at them. Cool off what would you do if you were really in that game . If ita a fantasy then just hide what do you usually do if you were in that situation.|||PRACTICE
Helper and Tip sites help alot yes, but PRACTICE is the best way to get a hold, and learn whichever game you are into.|||practise makes perfect|||quit lookin it up and play on harder difficulties. u will get better
