I want to change my gamer tag but I don't want to get banned from Microsoft. I just need to know how many it takes without getting my Gamer tag taken away.|||You pay 800 Microsoft Points, and then change your name.
You used to be able to have a lot of people report your name and get a free change, but Microsoft figured out that too many people were abusing that system. Now a living person checks each name, if the name is offensive and deserves to be changed, then it gets marked for change; if the name isn't offensive and was only reported to get changed, then you and possibly everyone that falsely reported your name could be marked down for suspensions and/or banning instead.|||i think they changed it so that you cant get your gamertag changed you just get banned|||2 i believe, no more than 3|||its 4 i know first hand my friend had his gamertag queefchieef
