What does the average gamer spend on video games versus music?

If you are a gamer what do you spend on games a year?

How much more is it over the music you buy?

Doing some inclass research|||I would say at least a couple hundred dollars on games a year, and maybe around $100 on music. I just don't buy CDs as often as I used to.

I guess I just listen to music online more than I did a few years ago. And the music stores around here have slowly been dying out. The only two stores nearby that sell CDs are Best Buy and Wal Mart, and neither of those stores have a great selection of music. I set up an account on Amazon not long ago, so I'll probably start buying most of my CDs there.|||i pay a shitton on games..i dont spend a penny on music...i download all mine from the interwebz

sooo maybe like:

30-120 bucks on games a month =D

0 on music (i have NEVER bought music)|||I would say $200 at most on video games, $100 at most on music. It's because video games are more expensive than music. I do still buy CDs because I like to have the liner notes, and be able to legally be able to share music with comrades.
