Got a used Xbox 360 - How do I delete old gamer tag and make a new one?

I just bought a used Xbox 360, which came complete with the guy's gamer tag. I want to remove his old gamer tag and create a brand new one. How do I do this?|||Go to the memory part of the console, and there will be an option to delete his.





Then, go to xbox.com and create a new gamertag. Then, on your console, hit the center button on your controller and go to recover gamertag.
